- PUJA & CELEBRATIONS
- MILK AND TIFFIN FOR POOR STUDENTS
- POOR STUDENTS EDUCATION FUND
- PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES FOR STUDENTS AND FOR SUBSIDIZING BOOKS
- OTHER WELFARE ACTIVITIES for eg:
- Distribution of Sarees, Dhotis, blankets etc for poor people
- Distribution of tricycle and wheelchair for the diabled

- On 12 January, Sri Lal Krishna Advani, former Deputy Prime Minister of India, unveiled a 9½-foot statue of Swami Vivekananda at Bangalore
- The newly built Vivekananda Vidyarthi Bhavan (hostel building) at Nagpur centre was inaugurated on 3 January
