RAMAKRISHNA MISSION ASHRAMA, BELAGAVI
Activities of the Ashrama along the lines laid down by Swami Vivekananda – "Atmano Mokshartham Jagadhitaya cha" or "for the liberation of self & welfare of the world."
Flood Relief Update : 15-Aug-2019
A survey of two villages was conducted on 14/08/2019. Relief Kits were distributed to the affected families as detailed below:
Taluk: Nippani, Village: Sidnal (part of the village): 41 families
Taluk: Nippani, Village: Hunnargi: 209 families
In addition to groceries, clothes and toiletries following items were distributed to all the above 250 families:
- Bucket
- Mug
- Ground mat
- Mosquito coil
- Match box
Medical Relief: A team of four doctors and others visited various flood affected places around Badakundri and Arujanawada in Hukkeri Taluk, Belagavi. A total of around 250 needy patients were examined and distributed essential medicines. They were also made aware about need for hygiene and safe drinking water.
